Taunggyi Downhill Track 

Taunggyi is situated in a much more steeper hillside and offers excellent uphill riding, and of course downhilling possibilities, specially in the newly constructed flowy DH race track from the top of the hill to the town. A good ride of course can be the 30 kms to Nyaungshwe, again done at sunset, with Inle lake views and a western facing slope, it can be a wonderful experience. More experienced riders for the Taunggyi area.

Samkar Bike and Boat  The southern lakes surrounds are quiet, much less crowded and have excellent trails to take your bikes into, and the scenery is stunning. Staying at Samka village, with its couple of small lodges or at the more luxurious Inle Sanctuary Lodge, can be a good base to do some serious biking in the area.
